The Hapticlabs DevKit includes two types of sensor boards designed for triggering haptic effects:

Touch button (Capacitive touch sensor)

The Touch button (Capacitive touch sensor) allows triggering Hapticlabs tracks with a simple touch. It consists of a sensing area, where contact is detected, a JST PH-4 4-pole connector and two 2.5 mm mounting holes for connecting it to your Prototype.To the left of the connector, you'll find two small switches for PIN selection. To choose the track assigned to PIN 1, toggle switch 1 to ON. For the track assigned to PIN 2, toggle switch 2 to ON.

Push button (Dual button sensor)

The Push button (Dual button sensor) allows triggering Hapticlabs tracks with a simple button press. It consists of two buttons, a JST PH-4 4-pole connector and two 2.5 mm mounting holes. Button 1 triggers the track saved to Pin 1, button 2 triggers the track saved to Pin 2. Press the corresponding button and feel your uploaded signal. Tip: Upload two different tracks to slot 1 and 2, and compare them in A/B tests!
